The microphone has done a lot to help effective communication between people in two main ways, due to the two main types of microphone. Firstly there is one kind that is put onto a stage for a singer to sing into or a speaker to speak into which will enhance the volume of their voice. This enables people to hear the speaker loud and clear with the use of the microphone and also makes sure that the speaker is heard above everyone else in the room. This helps for effective communication because it means that people will have to concentrate on what is being said.
Nothing else can really be heard and therefore this means that they will take in the words being said far better than if they were listening to their friends talk next to them. Many people use a microphone when making a speech now because their voice can also be played out through speakers all around the area. This can be a very useful technique because it makes the listener feel surrounded and like what he hears. They have to listen which makes them take it in far better.
Breaching the Gap
The second type of microphone is the one which can be found on any computer or laptop. It can be used to communicate to people all around the world with just a few clicks of the mouse.
A microphone being able to be fitted onto (or into in many cases) a car is a far better having to type out every word that is being said, and also it is a well known fact that less than 10% of what is being said comes in the world, tone accounts for 35% which can be heard over a microphone but cannot be heard or indicated when typing a message to someone.
